Mission Statement

Response Computers was conceived over fourteen years ago when I was working in a local computer repair store. I saw then that better customer satisfaction could be achieved by performing the computer repairs onsite. Traveling to a customer with a complete inventory of replacement parts and software saves them the time and aggravation of unhooking all the wires and dragging his desktop or laptop computer across town to a repair shop. It also gives me the opportunity to see the computer in its environment and to better diagnose why the issue occurred. Many times by working onsite I am able to stave off future problems, by making sure the computer is properly protected from electrical surges, a network is properly password protected and secured, and a good Internet Security package is installed.

Also by working onsite I get to interact with the owner of the computer, and explain how the issue may have arose, and how they can keep it from happening again, how to maintain their computer on a regular basis. This interaction also gives the customer a chance to have any questions he may have answered,and make them a part of the repair process, and not just the person that writes the check.

It is the philosophy at Response Computers that owning a computer does not have to be an expensive proposition. If you buy smart, have it properly setup, and maintain it, your monthly cost to own your computer should be less than 15 dollars, or 50 cents a day. A small price to pay for the many benefits a computer can bring into your life.
